Originally from London, I fell in love with Manchester when I first visited the city just before the Millennium and have made it my home since the early Noughties. This beautiful and vibrant part of the country has given me access to a wealth of photographic opportunities which led to my decision to study B.A. Contemporary photography at the University of Salford in 2020.
Graduating with a 1st in July 2023, I decided to continue my studies and I am currently half-way through a Contemporary Fine Arts M.A. focusing on the issues I am passionate about - equality, women's rights, diversity and inclusion. Currently, I am exploring memory; how our 'todays' quickly become 'the past', a distant time to be remembered with a fondness it doesn't deserve, and considered irrelevant to now.
The pages within this portfolio are a sample of topics and themes I have been exploring including my own archive images as well as recent projects and university work.
