I was privileged and lucky to have been given access to the famous Alstom train building site in Derby to photograph their female staff.
From the production line to supervision, there were abundant female workers on the production lines as Alstom actively supports diversity and inclusivity. Alstom energetically employs, educates and promotes women to achieve their aim of having 28% of women in managerial, engineering, and professional roles by 2025. They also aim to have at least 28% women in senior leadership positions.
Women are encouraged to take up roles on the production lines - previously reserved for men - and they are doing outstandingly.
